Poiana Brașov is open to all mountain and hiking lovers during summer and spring. The area is in the middle of Postăvaru, Piatra Craiului, Bucegi, and Piatra Mare mountains, where you will find a good many marked trails for biking and hiking.

Nothing is more refreshing than a hike through the forest on one of the marked roads that start from Poiana Brașov and brings you to the heart of the Postăvaru mountains.

If you have a mountain bike, you can enjoy one of the many biking trails and admire the nature's beauty. Furthermore, you can choose an organized tour with an experienced guide or venture on one of the routes from Poiana Brașov towards Sinaia or Bran.

Live a tourist adventure visiting the surroundings of Poiana Brașov!

From Poiana area, you can go up to Postăvaru Mountain by cable car. Once you arrive, you will have a variety of bike routes available. You can go down one of the routes in the Brașov historic city center, where you will discover one of the most beautiful monuments of Gothic architecture in Romania - the Black Church.

Eleven km from Poiana Brașov is Râșnov Fortress, built on a rocky hill. From the fortress, you can admire a wonderful view of the Prahova Valley and the surrounding mountains.

If you want to walk in Dracula's footsteps, you should take a trip to Bran Castle - one of the best preserved and impressive medieval castles in Romania, set in a dreamy natural setting, just like in Bram Stoker's novel.

Walking from the town of Bran towards Moieciu, you will discover one of the oldest communication routes on the Romanian territory, which connects Brașov with Câmpulung Muscel and Pitesti.
