From Poiana Brașov, you can go up to Mount Postăvaru in a cable car. Once there, you have a variety of biking route options. One of these routes will take you to Brașov’s city center, where one of Romania’s most impressive gothic landmarks awaits: the Black Church.

The Râșnov Fortress is located 11 kilometers outside Poiana Brașov, built on a rocky mountaintop. From there, you can take in the magnificent views over Prahova Valley and the surrounding mountains.

Should you wish to be part of the Dracula experience, a trip to Bran Castle is highly recommended. This is one of the best preserved and most impressive medieval castles in Romania and is located in magnificent surroundings as described in Bram Stoker’s novel.

Going from Brand to Moieciu, you will find one of the oldest roads in Romania, linking Brașov to Câmpulung Muscel and Pitești.
